As of November 30, 2010 emerit will no longer offer Professional Certification for the Casino Dealer occupation. Any person currently enrolled in the certification program will have until November 30, 2011 to complete the process. The fact that emerit will no longer take on new certification registrants for this occupation in no way devalues the certification and designation anyone has received to date. These certifications are still fully valid and certificants can continue to use the Tourism Certified Professional (TCP)designation. The National Occupational Standard will continue to be available, but no updates to this resource will be done.
