The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism (CATT)

CATT gives high school students the opportunity to build the foundation of a tourism career while staying in school and acquiring the skills for post-secondary education, life-long learning and work in the tourism industry.

Students follow the regular curriculum with a “specialization” in tourism and hospitality, including tourism focused projects, field trips and co-op placements. As a member of the Global Travel and Tourism Partnership, participants can connect with other students from around the globe, plus participate in research, writing and photography competitions. It's a great way to jumpstart your career in tourism!

Service Canada Summer Work Experience Program

Under the Youth Employment Strategy, the Summer Work Experience Program creates summer employment opportunities for secondary and postsecondary students, and supports the operation of Service Canada Centres for Youth where they may also find a job. These jobs provide students with the opportunity to acquire skills, gain valuable work experience and help finance their return to school.

Service Canada Centres for Youth (SCCY)

SCCYs help students and employers across Canada with their summer employment needs. SCCYs provide a variety of services, free of charge, to help students improve their job search skills and acquire meaningful employment. They also help employers find enthusiastic summer help.

Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC)

ACCC is a national, voluntary membership organization created in 1972 to represent colleges and institutes to government, business and industry, both in Canada and internationally. The ACCC interacts with federal departments and agencies on members' behalf and links college capabilities to national industries. ACCC organizes conferences and workshops for college staff, students and Board members to facilitate networking and participation in national and international activities such as sector studies, awards programs and linkages.

Parks Canada - Young Canada Works (YCW)

Summer jobs, winter jobs, jobs all year round! If you are interested in unique summer work experience unlike any other student job, then the Young Canada Works (YCW) program is for you. YCW provides full-time secondary and post-secondary students (ages 16 to 30) with summer work experience and skills.
