Director of Housekeeping - Certification 1.1

Includes National Occupational Standards and Certification Prep Pack, written exam, performance evaluation and work history verification. The exam consists of questions based on the National Occupational Standards for Director of Housekeeping. Required industry experience consists of a minimum of 750 qualified hours, or 500 hours for emerit certified Housekeeping Room Attendants, or 300 hours for emerit certified Supervisors. The Performance Evaluation consists of a structured interview requiring responses which demonstrate application of the National Occupational Standards.
Successful Director of Housekeeping certification candidates will be awarded the Tourism Certified manager (TCM) designation.
