Certification for this occupation includes three core components (an exam, requisite experience and a Performance Evaluation). The exam consists of 100 questions based on the National Occupational Standard for Tourism Trainer (version 2.0). Required industry experience consists of a minimum of 500 qualified hours of training experience and 700 hours of work experience in the tourism industry. The performance evaluation consists of an evaluation of a video submission of the candidate delivering a training program and submitting the relevant training materials.
