Line Cook – Workbook 3.0

This self-study workbook is packed with practical tools to help you gain the knowledge and skills demanded in today's kitchens. Based on the National Occupational Standards, the comprehensive and adaptable materials can be accommodated to individual learning styles and preferences.

The workbook covers four modules:

  2. Safety and Sanitation
  3. Kitchen Operations
  4. Preparation and Cooking
Each module contains learning objectives, new terms, self-directed activities, demonstration and add-on activities, knowledge checks, and answer keys. Module D also includes recipe cards.

This workbook is an excellent resource to help you prepare for the current Line Cook Certification program, but is not mandatory.

A Job Coach's Field Guide is available for workplace trainers or supervisors who will be leading the training program.
